Player Development
The Foundry Program
A development-first approach built on reps, relationships, and resilience.
Our Philosophy
Development Over Everything
Most travel programs measure success in tournament wins. We measure it in growth. Wins are a byproduct of development done right. That's the Foundry way.
The Eight Pillars
Practice Heavy
We practice more than we play games. Our fall and winter schedule is built around high-repetition, skills-focused practice sessions that create real muscle memory and real confidence. By the time spring arrives, our athletes will be ready.
Skills-Based Training
Every practice has a purpose. We work on hitting mechanics, pitching development, fielding fundamentals, base running, situational awareness, and mental toughness. No filler. No wasted reps.
On & Off Field Development
We develop the whole athlete. That means interactive lessons, mental skills work, leadership development, and conversations about character. The field is our classroom, but the lessons go far beyond softball.
Faith Foundation
Our program is grounded in faith. Faith is woven into everything we do. We welcome everyone regardless of their faith journey. We believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion.
Experienced Coaches
They bring technical expertise, competitive experience, and a genuine love for developing young athletes. They coach the person, not just the player.
Team Environment
We build teams, not collections of individuals. Chemistry, trust, and accountability are built intentionally. Our athletes learn to compete for each other, not just for themselves. Once you're on a team you have a home at Foundry forever.
Cost-Conscious Program
Development shouldn't require extraordinary costs. We keep our fees transparent and fair, and we work hard to minimize unnecessary costs. Every family deserves to know exactly what they're investing in.
Regional Competition
We compete in USSSA and NSA events across the Midwest. Games and tournaments that challenge our athletes and expose them to high-level competition without requiring cross-country travel every weekend.
